Cosmetic products created in South Korea
The most famous cosmetic product invented in Korea is often called BB cream, but this is a misconception. In fact, blemish balms were invented in Germany by dermatologist Kristin Schrammeck in the 1960s, and then they became popular in Asia. But CC creams (color Control cream or color Correcting cream) were developed in Korea as an improved version of BB cream. The main difference between BB creams and CC creams is that BB creams are improved versions of tonal products, while CC creams are advanced correctors with a toning effect.
1. Finishers
The finisher is applied after sunscreen / cream / serum to seal all the useful substances. This is not a primer, because the primer simply degreases and smoothes the skin before makeup. Finisher refers to the care products.
2. Oil products
Korean manufacturers have invented hydrophilic oils. They are able to remove any makeup, even the most persistent. In addition, the Korean market has popularized facial care oil. Also lip tints on an oil basis appeared in the line of decorative cosmetics. They fit well, do not spread, do not clog the wrinkles of the lips and provide a glow effect.
3. Cushion
The cushion is a sponge that is soaked in a liquid Foundation and it is in a special case. The product can be shiny or matte, weightless, or dense. The peculiarity of the cushion is that the sponge turns the Foundation into an air emulsion, which falls evenly in a thin layer and looks natural. Lip glosses, lipsticks, blush, and shadows are also available in the form of a cushion.
4. Sheet masks
Sheet masks-disposable cotton napkins soaked in serum with slits for the eyes and mouth. The mask fits snugly to the face and due to this, the skin is saturated with nutrients. 5. Eye Patches
Patches are compresses made of fabric or hydrogel that contain a high concentration of active ingredients. Often they are also saturated as powerful anti-aging or moisturizing serums. They smooth out the skin, removing fine lines, reduce puffiness and bruises under the eyes.
